Anti-virus software needs to be able to quickly identify and block these infections. Incompatibility is another issue. While the vast majority of antivirus software developers place much emphasis on developing quality products and pay a lot of attention to removing bugs, the truth is that occasionally multiple antivirus programs can result in conflicts.
